A few more words...

It would be sad to let my cards in there boxes, in the basement... but it would be a lot sadder to be bound to them when creating a new version!


3 points I would reproach to MW and put on the table for a new version:
(and, just to be clear, when I write MW I mean arena! I bought academy for a few useful cards in the arena but never played it)

1) to many conditions.
I like an aggravated wound but don't need burn, poisoned, rot, etc.
I like an incapacitated creature but don't need slam, daze, stun, etc.
etc.

2) spellbind makes the game repetitive.
I prefer to see many spells and strategies during my games.

3) AW never errated...
I like to get a well thought game when I buy it, but when a problem appears it must be fixed!

wow... I came back just to see if somebody's still here... WOW! somebody and some news!

I don't know where it leads, but I didn't play MW for a few years and didn't find replacement.
If AW creates something as rich as it was, as long as it was, as complex as it was, I'm looking forward to play it.

I received Codex and Spirit Island today!
Well... I'm off for a moment... sure back for a new arena expansion... or one day, who knows...

Thank you AW and everybody on the forum for these great MW-years!

-> does it mean "the source" and become the eye when cast from the eye?

I opened this thread partly to get reactions about arena's survival... well... everibody answered with alternative games...

And I still must take a look to Spirit island.

I see the end of MW (arena) coming and have to find another game to play with my friend...

We tried Adroid netrunner, but it was too chaotic.
We tried Ashes, rise of the phenixborns, but it was a little light.
We tried star wars armada and it's great!!! but we like to play in bars and MW-size is the largest we can afford.
... does somebody have ideas?

we like deckbuilding (but it's not necessary).
we like long games (we play 3-5h MW games, a little less would be great).
we like a lot of strategical choices, a little luck and a rich univers.
we need a game that can be played on a small table (MW is already to large).

all help welcome!

i think that the bow is not meant to get the bonus.
i thougth that as written it would.
... but i think that Arkdeniz reading shut's the case: no bonus!

if the crab attacks his prey and makes 0 damages, does the bow get the bonus to the prey since the prey was damaged by the crab's capacity?

(isn't this one funny?)

does somebody have the rule text for swarm?
