I won over Romeoxero with the male Warlock over Romeoxero´s  Priestess.

He surprised me a lot with a quite unusual build, and some nice/nasty ideas!

Always good when your opponent has a hard time guessing what your up 2, and you pressure him.

I managed to Seeking Dispel Divine Intervention (1/3) real quick and my Brutes did a good job, which turned the match in my favor.

Romeoxero played against mystery.

He used also a wizard, why are the people using a wizard against me? Thats why I then end up with the crazy curse decks like my todays BM.

The game was pretty straight forward: I started with the Adramalech warlock BF+crystall. He enchantment+krystall, then hugin and enchantment vs hawkeye leather boots and sersiryx
round 3: ring of curses, magebane on wizard and rhino hide on warlock.
The wizard casted a wizardstower and the surging wave one hitted the BF (falls in line with the 3 defense misses of fellela, a 12dmg 6 dice roll in thunderdome G...).
The next round I could get out a fireshaper ring and fit kill hugin with a flameblast. The mage bane slowly did dmg. A focused effort of the wizard killed also sersiryx rather fast, but he at least managed to also get an enfeeble on the wizard.
A quickcast 9dice fireball did only 6dmg, even though i had prepared gloves of skill. But then i realized i have not ini and a surging wave will daze me.
But as the wizard still was unprotected (apart from the voltaric shields), two flameblasts and a fireball killed him over the rounds.

mystery wins

Romeoxero played against mystery.

why are the people using a wizard against me?

You should take that as a compliment.

Vs. really strong players it make sense to use your best mages/spellbooks.

If I had played you in the first round, or had suffered an early loss, I would have played Wizard vs. you!

It seems like, that in a tourney format like this one, the favorite player is at a disadvantage :)

Looking for castor.

I can at least record it if not cast it.  Double caster would be great.

Leggy pulled out her first win! She went for it with a zombie necromancer versus GW's druid.  GW partnered up with the Steelclaw Grizzly and Raptor Vine to try and deal some major damage on top of throwing out an early magebane and rust to make the necro quite vulnerable. Leggy was able to tanglevine the grizzly twice taking away the enemy's actions
The tanglevines allowed the zombie horde to swarm and overwhelm the druid.  The druid was bombarded with 3 taint conditions as well as a few hurl rocks and a boulder which in the end gave leggy her win. Great game to play. loved GW's aggressiveness and strategy.  Quite the competitor.

I wish I could see that.
Situation in group C is getting really interesting. Tyrnan is going to decide who's going to advance from group.

Good luck my friend. Remember a duel is lost before meeting the opponent, if it first lost within our own mind. It is better to steal yourself for battle and focus on winning for yourself; ignore the bigger picture.

Yeah. Looking at it that way I only need to win three matches in order to advance  8)
The first of these interesting matches starts in roughly two hours.
Wstrząśnięty vs. Tyrnan

I'm sure it will be fun :)
