Card Updates with the Arena (4th Editon) Release

I spent some of the weekend updating the OCTGN card database with the new cards from the Arena box. I have just updated the card data not the art at this point. There are 14 cards that had some form of updated text on the cards. Only one (Skeletal Sentry) had an updated Subtype. Enjoy!

Thanks for the catch, I do not have the 3rd edition. Looks like I am an old school 1st edition type...

The same could be said for the card text, I have the 1st edition myself along with the Card DB as reference so any of these could of been updated in any of the following editions. With the next release of the MW module on OCTGN the card data will reflect the latest and great card text.

When you say "data" ... does that mean that the card text, attack bar, etc. shown on the like is still not up to date?

Card data is any of the text you see on a card. Almost all of the cards here have the "card text" section (bottom of card above the flavor text) updated with mostly clarified wording. Several of them were as simple as changing out the word "hidden" for "casting".

I asked because I heard that the new Gate to Hell affected the entire arena now, but the old text appeared to be on the card when I asked. Thanks for the quick reply!

I have updated the OCTGN Card DB but it has not been released yet, soon though.....

Those card updates (Gate of Hell, Malacoda, etc.) are just updated with clarificatioms from the rules supplement, or it's some new errata?

I noticed that Boardgamegeek.com is calling Arena the 2nd Edition, 4th Printing in their database. Not sure of their criteria for new editions, but it would be nice if we all used a common standard for talking about the different versions.

I don't recall any version information printed on the new Arena product, but perhaps I missed it.

Not core set, but one of our regulars picked up the new printing of Forcemaster vs Warlord and noticed an updated [mwcard=FWC04]Goblin Builder[/mwcard] (yeah) but with an unfortunate typo (oops). New text reads:

Repair
Remove 1 damage from a Corporeal conjuration in, or boarding [sic], his zone.

Yes. I'm very sorry this has been taking much longer than I'd hoped. However, this will all be updated.
