I agree. Apart from nice academy sets, both will incredibly open up the strategies of their respective Arena mages! They both introduce very fresh and awesome cards.

And did this Warlord flunk out of Paladin school? Maybe has to redo his Warlord courses before being accepted back into the Paladin program? Or maybe he failed Seminary but couldn't afford a more Warlord-ish uniform?

I am going to say is players who love these mages are going to really enjoy these sets.  Warlord will not be considered second tier (for those that rank mages) after this set and the forcemaster will take over as being supreme ruler of all things Mage wars. 

I am very excited to add these cards to my arena books!

hmm, looks like the warlord is a High Elf

I would have been glad about something less human....

Will the Warlord get new War Conjurations? I do not believe but lvl 1-2 creatures you can not have enough from, more choices, more cannons feed

I think the warlord has become one of the better mages Already...

I agree completely. The gloves, plus Ballista, plus the stuff coming in Academy. War is going to take over. Can not wait until the previews start. I think both Bloodwave and Anvil Throne are going to do just fine.

I will say that the Warlod is getting some nice toys, and we will add an interesting spin on the forcemaster...

I prefer to look at it as "sharing with our rabid fanbase before I send an ad out to our general public" --but I guess stomping on the playtesters' fun could be seen as a perk.

And considering that they're the warlord and the forcemaster (but in German, literally translated as "powermaster")

Interesting thing is, yes, the German “Macht” normally is “power” in English. But in Star Wars, “die Macht” is “the Force”. So “Machtmeisterin” is a pretty cool translation of Forcemaster considering her typical tricks in the arena.

Both are solid sets that people will love. Each has very nice toys for both arena and academy and not just for the mages on the boxes.
