MW Battlegrounds Domination Spoilers

Release of Battlegrounds is first quarter 2015. There are some completely new cards and some promos seeing print for the first time. I can't give you an exact quantity of cards right now, but I will as soon as possible.

-When will be released?
-The cards in that expansion will be new? or there wil be old ones?
-Quantity of cards?

Anyone know the status of battlegrounds?  Haven't heard much about it lately. Q1 is here. Should we expect a delay?

Well, were only halfway through Q1, so we have some time yet.

But with the disaster that is the West Cost port Labor dispute, there might be a delay leading into early Q2.

WizKids D&D Dicemasters has been pushed back a few times because of it and is now scheduled to be released March 11, as opposed to Feb8 as originally planned.

There isn't much anyone can do about it.

Does it only influence overseas production or also Production inside the US?

The Bulk of Board Games are produced in China. the next biggest chunk are produced in Germany.

The games would be coming from china so they would be delayed by the worker issues at the California Port.

Laddinfance would have more detailed info, but I would expect a delay that is out of the control of AW.

Has the expansion/product release order been confirmed anywhere recently?  From a cursory browsing of the forums, it seems that both Academy and Battlegrounds expansions were scheduled for 2015 Q1 at one point or another, and Paladin vs Siren was to follow both of those (?).  Are Academy and Battlegrounds being combined into one expansion with several alternate play modes?  Or are they still separate products?  Has Academy been shelved?  Right now it looks like:

- Mage Wars: Arena (aka Core Set, 4th ed) -> March/April 2015
- Mage Wars: Battlegrounds and/or Mage Wars: Academy -> sometime thereafter
- Mage Wars: Paladin vs. Siren -> sometime in the more distant future...

Battlegrounds: Domination is the next new Mage Wars product to be released.

Mage Wars: Academy is a separate product. It is most certainly not, "shelved".

Paladin vs. Siren is the next Mage Wars: Arena product after that.

Now, obviously things could change, but right now this is the plan.

This is what I thought. The box says made in the USA and I could of sworn I read something about them going to the place where everything was manufactured being nearby. With that being the case I fail to see how the port issue would cause a delay. Unless being made in the USA is not the case.

The majority of board games are printed / manufactured in China. The next largest segment are produced in Germany.
