Let's say the forcemaster plays ooze then blade.

Turn 3: Ooze and forcemaster kill the wall.

Turn 4: the fight is on, you cast your third knight but you can't use rouse or defend on a skeletal knight so you only get 2 swings for 5 dice each, that's not going to kill the ooze.  One knight takes 5+ corrode+4+4 dice of attacks, possibly dying but probably surviving.

Turn 5: You lose a knight and kill the ooze, You've got a veteran and you plus your boys are swinging 15 dice total and the forcemaster is swinging 13 dice at most.

Near the end a forcefield is probably going to tip the balance towards the forcemaster though.  It will come down to good play.   I think the forcemaster should go for you directly unless you cast standard bearer.  Game's going to be over pretty fast and I'm not sure who would win.  I like your book.  :)

Edit:  Wait, I just realized you don't play bloodwave.  Why not?  You don't seem to be getting much from anvil throne and +1 melee and possible vet tokens helps.

Yeah it should be in there.  Any book that is going for a damage race needs at least one WoT+Force push, it's 10 dice for 11 mana plus a bunch of positional control.

I play Anvil because it make my items harder to dissolve and I can get +1 armor and though -2 on my creatures or Fast.

On turn 4, my knight has a chance to evade the ooze attack and your ooze will take a total of 4 attacks. Counterstrike from the knight, attack from that knight and 2 attacks from the 2nd knight that I will cast battle Fury (i figured a 3rd knight won't save the day here, better spend mana to boost stuff). 20 dice normally (or I should say, averagely) should kill the ooze.

Oh yeah, fast on demand is good for these guys.  You don't get the counterstike because I forcepull the knight who isn't guarding then attack him with the ooze.  :)

If I do not have initiative I will quick cast Retaliate on that Knight.

I edited the original post with the Wall of Thorns. This serve 2 purpose. To have a nice little surprise on a non-armored mage and to deal with the FM's Forcefield.

[cost]Total cost: 120 pts[/cost]
[/spellbook]

I removed 1 Skeleton Knight because this book is supposed to be agressive and a 3rd creature can't really be casted without losing some tempo. If I really need other creatures out, I still have other choice even if not optimal vs opponent. At least it free up 6 spellbook points.

I also removed 1 Brace Yourself and switched Minor Heal for Healing Charm (it is better, ya know ;) )

I added a Rust and a Shift Enchantment, for 2 reasons. Rust is good on opponent mage (obviously) and Shift Enchantment is good to move Standar Bearer or Akiro's Favor from a dieing unit to a more healty one.
But there is also a nice combo of casting Rust on a Corroded creature to drop the markers and then Shift Enchantment to enemy Mage to make my creature get back its full armor.

I also added Purify for its poison removeable effect and Free-Mana Nullify Busting capacity.

I added a Reassemble because it allow to keep a knights up a little bit longer.

What situation so you find Thorg best for? You don't have many things that need guarding.

Also 3 disarms seems like a lot, do you mostly use them for nullify fishing?

Thorg utility is his taunt. It allow him to (counter)attack flying creatures. He is also a good soldier on offense and defense.

Disarms have many utilities:
- Nullify bait.
- Remove Corrode markers from my mage.
- Cheap "dissolve". There are some items I don't necesserly need to be out the whole game, I just need them to be out for 1 round and paying the full dissolve item price is pointless in that case.
