Yip. The Angel Slayer will not slay Angels that easy, but nevermind, he is awesome! (Weak?Cripple?Avaiable for all buffs to living creatures?)

Not sure if he is worth the money but i guess he will be helpful and a nice alternative for gorgon archer/hydra/randomfinisher in any wizard book.

It seems that this creature will be known as Astro or "The Manticore". I am not able to fully remeber its name but what i will remember is that when this guy enters the arena, i should kill him as fast as possible. Thx to the Weak and Cripple, he could stand toe to toe with any other living creature. Just for fun, i will do an imaginary fight with grizzly bear, Andy, Iron Golem, Wolverine, Sardonyx and Valshala. My bet is on Sardonyx and Iron Golem

Sorry, but only Valshala stand a chance. The others are not flying so can't touch Andy while it can shoot at them.

Other than my intense desire to do a pop culture mashup and rename this guy Ashton Klandathu, he looks pretty awesome.  Arcane + Dark makes me squee.

Does anyone notice that his toxic spikes and poisonous stinger aren't actually poison attacks? What's up with that?

If you look at most attacks that inflict poison conditions, you'll find that they are untyped damage. The spines and stinger do their own damage, before any poisons are injected. That is why they are not typed damage. We did not feel that an immunity to poison should make you resistant to this type of physical damage.

Id agree, the damage is more the big physical stinger poking you, and the poison effect is the "icing" on top from his venoms.

So can guarding and the resulting counterstrike. With the Iron Golem being Poison immune you could shoot at him with spikes but with his high armor we are talking forever to kill him.

Yes, Asto would certainly win, but it would take forever to finish the golem off.
