Charm and taunt
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:28:00 PM »
If a Forcemaster has charmed Thorg, is it still legal for Thorg to "taunt" the Forcemaster?

Thereby making the Forcemaster attack Thorg and break the charm, of course.

(They have a complicated relationship.)

This would be perfect!!!  It would be a great way out of it....except...his taunt does not work on Mages.   :(

Hey Skytale! Throgs taunt cannot target mages or creatures with physic immunity. (The codex for the expansion says so.)

Edit: You again Arcanus!!! *Shakes fist in air*

Ha!  You made me laugh out loud!  Okay, I'll be slower on the next one!   :)

The young adept, bounded at the wrist, was brought before Arcanus, the Grand Wizard of Sortilege, for crimes unknown. Arcanus asked the adept if he had any thing to say in his defense. Baffled by the question, the adept said the only thing that came into his mind...a joke. As the courts stood in disbelief, Arcanus let out a bellowing laugh, shortly after collecting himself he somberly replied,"I shall spare this young adepts life, for a humorous heart is a strong heart." The adept rapidly began thanking him, stuttering and mincing his words, then he turned around and began to walk away. Suddenly, the room turned to black, a depth of darkness the likes in which the young adept had never seen. He began frantically searching for an exit when Arcanus's voice cut through the darkness like lightning cuts through the sky."And a strong heart, belongs in the Arena!" A blinding flash, and then the feeling of cold wet stone surrounded the young adept. He looked around, tugging at the ropes that were still bound to his wrist. He was in a small room, with nothing but hay,and one large wooden door in front of him...and it was slowly opening.
To long, didnt read? I dont blame you.

So far the only practice or training I have ever had is around eighteen years of being a dungeon master. I worked a little with my father who has published three books, but I was more of a proof reader and idea generator, than being any sort of contributor) Besides that, I make up stories all the time and have a deep love for writing, but so far have not had the time to really exert myself in the practice and training that needs to be put into the art. I had plans to go to college and become a author/adventure writer/game designer, or go in to marketing. (I enjoy what "really" goes into marketing, the science and physiological aspect of it all.) But then life happened. I'm not positive if you are just asking me if I have a interest in writing, or if I'm interested in writing something for Mage Wars. If it is the latter case, of course I am! If you had some sort of evaluation, or a topic for me to base a story around, I would love too. That, or if you had someone who would be interested in reading it, I could start something right away.
