Mangler Caltrops question

Hi all,

I dropped Mangler Caltrops in a game yesterday & a wording question arose.

The card reads "Caltops attacks each non-flying creature after it enters the zone."

Does the "it" refer to the caltrops or the creature that enters the square? Grammatically, the former makes sense but thematically the latter does.

Either way, has anybody found a devious combo with this card yet? It seems fun.

it = for creatures entering the zone. cause the caltrops are active in a specific zone.
