If a creature with the invisible trait is put to sleep, how does one wake it up since the creature appears when it attacks thus how would the mage find the creatureto wake it up...exception would be of course a zone attack. Is this logic correct?

You are correct, a zone attack would be your only recourse to waking a sleeping invisible creature. Not even an Idol of Pestilence or Malacoda would help.

You cannot put the Invisible Stalker to sleep because all the sleeping spells only affect living creatures and it is nonliving.
