Duplicate mages?

Will future expansions contain duplicate mage cards? I'd love to experience wizard vs. wizard fight for example.

Last I heard, there are plans to release mage cards to provide both genders for each mage.   That would take care of your desire.  Or you could always buy them as singles.  Or another core box.

Lots of options, with one of them a rumor I swear I read on these forums.

Your best option would be to buy a second core set.  As far as providing both genders, that may or may not happen, and the other gender wouldn't be exactly the same if it does happen, at least as far as abilities go.

i'd like to see a downloadable image with a name area underneath.  i made one for myself and put tag on it.  actually, i guess i could just use any image i can find.

however, i wouldn't mind an "official" version.

We are looking at alternate image Mage cards. They will come paired with alternate ability cards, but the two can be interchanged with the existing Mage cards. We don't have a timeline on how soon we will have these ready, but we want to get to them before the next big Mage expansion.

Yeah i agree 2 core sets, and just both use Wizard mage (since OP did not mention gender, but just "wizard vs. wizard fight") Just remember there can only be one same Legendary creature type in the game at any time.
