What is the level of a Mage when they are affected by attacks that depend on creature level such as Wall of Thorns?

Yes, Mages are considered level 6 creatures.  It's in the rule book somewhere but I'm not sure what page as I do not have it in front of me right now.

Type and Subtype: All cards have a type that determines how it behaves in the arena. Your Mage is a creature, which means he may move around the arena and take actions. Note, for all purposes, your Mage is treated as a Level 6 creature. He also has a “subtype”, which is his “race”. For example, the Wizard is “human”.

I hope that helps
