Another book I have been working on for a while.  This one is a lot of fun to play!  It is pretty standard and straightforward.  Mana shard and barracks t1. go from there.  The garrison posts allow you to spread out your troops and get more mana on the barracks.  The commands and formations are really what make the skeletons shine; Vet Tokens are just icing on the cake.  Flank attack with press the attack in a zone, whirling strike followed by overextend, dig in with the battle order On Guard, the list goes on.
Lesser Invisibility on a skeletal sentry, who is in a zone with a formation is fantastic...but lesser invisibility on a goblin bomber is also a fun trick to pull off.
I know swarms are the rage currently, so hail stones, sandstorm, and the bomber are there to help, if i face those. 
A sentry can have 6 dice and 1 armor with just press the attack and armory out.  If it does become a vet then it will have 7 dice and 2 armor with 11 life.
A sentry with no vet and dig in can have armor 1 and roll 5 dice with on guard. If you promote it then it will have 2 armor and roll 6 dice with 11 health while guarding.
These are just a few of the possibilities of the book.
Arcane corruption is just my way of dispel for my warlords, however, it only works if they have a hyper enchant build.  2 rusts would, in theory, be just as good, especially with the creature choices I have.  The easier it is to kill the enemy the better.

Contemplated horn of gothos in the book for on guard command and to battle command but I never really found a good time to have the horn out.  The warlord is usually up front with the troops to help take the hate off the skeletons.  With the high life that he has, its not too much of a concern.  I view a mages life is a resource and as long as I can manage the threats, use on guard when needed, etc, then I should be in ok shape.

Any questions or recommendations let me know below, I am always eager to hear feedback and improve my books. If anyone has a version of the warlord similar to this I would love to see it played sometime!

Hmm where should I start?

First: sentry has 4 basic attack and with armory out and press the attack, you will get 5 dice with pierce 1 and 1 armor. I a m not a big fan of the armory cause it costs 10 mana if not using the building conj.

Second: I don’t think that Baracks needs a mana shart. Outpost are more effective IMO.

Third: you will waste a lot of actions with only command spells. And you can’t counter any DOT with no dispel, disolve or any curse removing incantation.

Fourth: your mage s defense. Not a lot of armor, no vet belt, no halberd (super weapon!)

IMO this deck lacks of flexibility cause of the missing of basic incantations. Command spells are except for bf and overextend not worth the mana cause you could also throw a rock (5 dice, or even 6 -7 with strategy helmet and halbert and Hawkeye ).

I know the advantages of unholy soldiers but I think living soldiers are the better choice cause you can use healing on them or yourself.

Halberd and remove curse are good options, i'll work them in somehow.

Armory is not essential and is a lot of mana, i get that. But buffing undead is way more difficult than buffing the living. No rhino hide, gator toughness, brace yourself, etc. If i can get an arena wide buff for 10 mana, i will take it. Just my preference.

I had gurmash but he brings too much unneeded attention and dies too fast. And wasting actions is not how i see it. Spend one qc so a soldier can hit 2 or 3 targets with one action seems pretty rad. 9 mana for a knight to roll 15 dice or 4 mana for a sentry to roll 8 dice. Not too shabby. And that is with no buffs on them or discounts on my commands.

I view overextend as a rouse the beast for skeletons. I summon it and it wouldnt act for a turn anyways, just overextend amd get the hit off then. Its more to finish off a creature, not juat use it to use it kind of thing.

Healing and armor, i do lack. An intercepter would be nice and armor would be good. I had armor in at one point but sbps had to be cut for the creatures :/ lol

I like this build a lot, armory is a must and completely agree it needs to stay.  Royal armorer could be a nice addition, it could replace promotion.  The rock golems seem a little unnecessary because no soldier synergy.  Goblin bomber seems a little too niche too when you have some zone attack spells already.  And the. Lesser invisibility would be unneeded too. 

The only big thing missing which Pax has pointed out are dispels, dissolves, seeking dispel. . You could put in the harshforge construct to save on spellbook points. 

Other things that you may be interested in are possibly deathlok to stop regen and healing for everything.  Also scout could be a good choice to increase damage output. 

Love the formations too.  Again cool build

How has the Barracks worked with some of the new Warlord cards? More viable?

In the past when I did a Necro skeleton book, I put an armory in it... I guess it's just how many SBP's you want to spend between Dark and War, and how much you want Mage/School specific stuff.

Sure, but a warlord going with exclusively dark creatures is a heavy spell point investment, certainly more than 6 sbp for a necro to use armory.

Not faulting it, because it makes sense for a warlord, but I have a hard time taking the plunge myself

Another interesting book, I tried similar stuff but found it hard to play, might be easier since I would use mana shard and barracks.  Would cut armory to add royal  armour and more skeleton sentry maybe not a lot of was to keep armour on otherwise but with dig in and or banner that's 2 ac.
