What you think are the schools from this Mage?

When looking at the picture you can tear most schools out.
I think the schools that can be excluded are Dark, Nature, Mind, Earth and Water.

She looks like a war-mage because of her melee weapons.

I also think that she cast a holy spell in the picture.

Arcane and Holy, maybe.
When I look at her think somehow Paladin, only she will be different.

With her red clothes and emblems, she might be something like an dragon knight.

According to the design of both Paladin and Siren, she could have a main school (war?, mind?) and a secondary school (up to level x, or restricted to a spell type). This secondary could be any element (as a thematic asian focus).

Has it been confirmed that she is a Mage? That parent image has art from a bunch of different arcane wonders products. Maybe she's from a different game. Still, I like the speculation about what schools she'd have. Kinda wanna do similar speculation for the other characters in that image, even the ones we know aren't Mages, lol. Like what schools would the Sheriff of Nottingham have? lmao.

But that's off topic. I like the idea that she's a dragon knight and agree with Pritoos that she may have alternate training like the Siren does. So maybe she's trained in Fire and Dragons? Maybe Fire + Level 3 War + Dragons.

What's striking is, that the academy wizard is missing.

Why I believe that the new Druid and Necro are Academy Mages.
1. We know 4 Academy Mages are coming out this year.
2. If we get an alternative Necro for Arena she would surely be female.

I wish we had more non-human mages i still hope the shaman will be a lizardman!

It's debatable whether the anvil throne warlord is female though. Not every alternate Mage necessarily has to have reversed gender of the original.

i disagree  for an orc  the best inversed is an dwarf , the gender has benn well inversed ^^


For me,  she's a shaoling  martial and mind . probabily  or an shaolin soccer,  she have the same uniform ^^

I like the concept of a monk that can invoke special strikes in combination with a melee attack. Seems possible by looking at its right hand.
For example including incantations (war school with specific sub type) or mage abilities with powerful (and good chances) of creating effects (i.e. power punch for crippled, spok's vulcan nerve pinch for stunned, etc. I doubt that the five point palm exploding palm technique -kill bill- would feature there though...).
The dragon training would be also really neat if they issue more minor/medium lizard or dragon creatures. 

I think is simply a war trained mage with monk sub-type.

I think a force master monk could be pretty cool.  Maybe they could use their unique moves to do more of a board control think, like Force Push or the Siren's Call.

Are we sure that the Bloodwave Warlord is not female? How would we know?

Having had a second look at the picture, I sense an Eastern theme to expand on the Meditating Monk, which is Holy or Mind.

So I am picking a major in mind/force and a minor in holy.

I was imagining her abillity is something like...

Fighting Stance:
In the supply phase, she may decide to set up a defensive or offensive Stance.
Defensive Stance: mage gains a 7+ deffense and counterstrike.
Offensive Stance: mage gains Melee +1 and Elusive.

I think she has minor holy, arcane is more likely then mind.
