It certainly was a surprise to suddenly see the holy Alfiya in the dirty hands of a necromancer.

I hate to even attempt to say it but i think you need another repeatable light attack. Maybe temple of light? I know, its ONLY 6 SP. No big deal right? Lol!

You should find a way to throw in a rock or boulder. If you sacrifice Alfya your can melee attack for +8 piercing 8 then follow it up with a QC attack spell that gains piercing 8 as well. Its a great finisher/last ditch attempt to win.

Why spells like 2x regrowth and theft of life if one of your main cards is altar of skulls and deathlock?

Hm, well regrowth is just a good spell.

In the game with Enti, I cast it and regenerated once before he casts his own deathlock. A net gain of 2 heal and 3 mana.

1 for the mage is minimum I think, and maybe 1 extra for Alfiya is decent enough, or two for the mage if the first gets dispelled right away.
But of course you could argue that, with the redundancy in arena-wide finite life, the redundancy in regrowth is less likely to be needed.

I think when I made the first iteration, I was not actually expecting to ever get the altar of skulls really going, but so far it has worked out.

You could probably take 1 regrowth out to free up some sbp.

Theft of life is in-school, stacks with regrowth and works towards countering Dorseus halfway. (At least I assume it works against Dorseus' healing, but do you get the healing that it blocked if you have finite life yourself? I don't know!)

Thinking about it you could try playing sardonyx with priestess instead. Sunfire amulet and some holy spells could even out lost life. The invert to this book

The problem is sardonyx is 10000 times worse than Alfiya, lazy Enforceress
