Will be legal yes. All non-promo cards that have been out at least 30 days will be legal.

Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Children of all ages!

Your Gen Con 2017 Mage Wars Judges are proud to announce the line up of judges for all Mage Wars events this year!!!!

With the decision of 2 time judge Jimillia Wilson to compete in this years Arena Tournament we searched for a suitable Mage Warrior to join our glorious ranks and we have found them. Please welcome Ross aka DrMambo23!!!! DrMambo is the reigning Mace Champion and a respected member of these forums!

Here's your line up of judges:
Benjamin(Silverclawgrizzl) Primary Mage: Straywood Beast Master.
Andrew(JasonBourneZombie) Primary Mage: Necromancer.
James Primary Mage: Siren.
Ross(DrMambo23) Primary Mage: Necromancer.

Thursday:

Domination 2 VS 2 Tournament:
Judges: BenJamin, Andrew, James, Ross.
Pray there's an equal number of teams other wise Andrew and Ross enter as Necromancer Brothers.

Practice/Casual Play:
Judges: Benjamin, Andrew, James, Ross.
All judges will bring multiple books and mages to help you practice for the big dance or to just play casually. I also hear a certain Arcane Dueler might be on hand....

Friday:
Arena Tournament Day 1:
Judges: Benjamin, Andrew, James, Ross.
Step on up and bring it. 4 of your will qualify for Day 2.

Saturday:
Arena Tournament Day 2:
Judges: Benjamin, Andrew.
The Top 4 compete under the watchful eyes of our two most senior judges.

Academy Tournament:
Judges: James, Ross.
This tournament begins slightly before the Arena Finals end. It is possible we may have extra puddin available for this event though  ;)

Trophies have been ordered!

Trophies will be awarded as follows:

Mage Wars Domination: 2 trophies for the winning team. These trophies are huge.

Mage Wars Arena: Trophies for the Top 3.

Mage Wars Academy: Trophies for the Top 2.

Onitama: Trophies for the Top 2.

What time does the tournament start on Friday? I gotta have an approximate time so i know if i cam fly in Friday morning and make it or not

For the domination tournament, are we supposed to have a partner, or find one when we get there?

Either. If you have a partner that's obviously a good idea. However I strongly suspect we'll have people hanging around looking for partners.

If by some weird twist of fate we get that one odd person out a member of the judge staff will enter the tournament as their partner.
