Remove guard.

Is it correct that only melee attacks remove a guard marker? After a zone attack, ranger attack, push against wall,... The guard marker stays on your creature?

Yes. Correct.

The only exception is when a creature with the intercept trait, intercepts an incoming attack. However, it is not removed when the intercepter was targetted by the ranged attack to start with.

Spot on. Basically the guard marker is removed after it's used - to lure an attack and counterstrike or to intercept. Doing other things to the guard doesn't affect it, unless you Incapacitate them.
