Yeah those are good theories of how it should go against an elemental. However life sometimes goes different lol.

I'm gonna debate my flying priest book again.

Actually that is the strategy to teach anyone the power of intercept. Or even teleport the elemental to the other side of the arena to get that pesky critter out of your hair, once you are out of attack spells.

I'm not going to debate tactics. This is all basic common sense stuff. However real games with real people can throw real kinks into it. If you'd like an Earth Elemental thread please make one and lets stay on topic here.

Being on the receiving end of a ticked off Metatron I can attest that he is a pain.

I'm still an amateur when it comes to deck building, but my project deck would probably be my Angel Fortress. It's a priestess deck, and it it uses the Temple of Light built in the middle of the board, powered up with a bunch more temples in the back row protected by steel walls. The Temple of light itself is protected by Sacred Ground, Fortified Position, and some Guardian Angels. Some Royal Archers thrown in to supplement the Temple of Light.

With the release of Paladin vs Siren, I'm seeing a whole bunch of potential upgrades I can make to this deck. Malakai's Basilica is an option, and along with that Luminous Blast and Artemis. Maybe a steep hill.

I'm hoping I can get this Priest working. I also have a Siren I need to re- outfit, an Anvil Throne I just need to play more, and an Adramelech I need to fine polish.

Yea I have a few builds I want to experiment with.  I have a forcemaster build I want to try out, Joktari buddy build with the new spear. My two books I want to try the most is experimenting with the undead pirates with a Druid and/ or necromancer.  Along with either the croc or crab for the Druid. Hope to get to try at least a couple of these out this month.

I'm wanting to mess around with a Johktari as well but I'm letting another local Ayer experiment first. Also need to squeeze the giant elephant into a book.

like most others I really want to do something fun with Titanodon.

But at the moment I am building a Druid, that is very aggressive from turn 1 while the tree builds economy with seedling pots + mana flowers.

Next Forcemaster project :

Rebuilding my book around the Kraken. ( Removing Grizzly and Jelly )

It's 15 sbp's but its abilities nicely fit into the FM's strengths

Force Pull enemy mage from 2 zones away, Tentacle Grasp - snatch and Grapple - with Kraken next.
Enemy mage is held in place and attacked with 6 dice + Piercing +3 next.
Grapple gets around any guards.
Critical strike on FM.
Thoughtspore with Minor Heal/Dispel/SeekingDispel as back up.

That's the core idea.
The thing I like most about it is that it can be set up real fast, no Teleport Trap, no Spiked Pit nor Tanglevine necessary anymore to move and hold the enemy Mage.
The FM and the Kraken do all that ( + damage + get around armor) between the two of them.

I am still working on the Viking Con 70 spellbook library. (at 43 or so)

With Paladin vs Siren, Warlock/Priestess Academy and Lost Grimore out, there is a lot to do :)

Mind Eye is something i really want to try, even if i usually give up on building FM books. WHAT?!, only 40 cards in my spellbook?

Altar of Infernia in a Necromancer book and build and play 1+ book that uses my Screaming Zombies.

Itching to use a lot of the new creatures, but i don´t think it will make that much of a difference.
"Just use Grizzlies"

Warlock build a Demon book that rocks. Lets say 1 or more for each mage.

Tanks: Priestess, Dwarf, Wizard, Druid is really hard to kill. (actually any tank mage is hard to kill) If they can´t kill you, your not losing.

Anti-tank. Build at least 1 book for each mage that focusses on anti-tank. Gladly at the cost of losing to Swarms, Flying etc. Just wanna kill those tanks.

Play all of the books at least once.

More important get Keejchen to make at least 1 video for each library book. :)

My current project is a priest book cleric swarm. The basic idea is to use the new 3 dice clerics to force a bad situation and make you want to kill them, but if you do you get metatroned in the face. It's interesting but not there yet
