Divine Reversal Question
« on: September 06, 2016, 01:12:30 PM »
Mandatory reveal after being attacked.
You may prevent up to 2 damage from that attack.

Question : can you choose which 2 damage ?
Like can I choose 2 critical damage to be prevented rather than 2 normal damage , cause I may still have a Brace Yourself on as well to block the rest of the normal damage.

With this card it's possible to block all damage and even heal up to 2 damage in the process.

All that in a lvl1 3 mana spell.

What's not to like ?

I thought it was applied during the Damage and Effects step, after armor has already had its chance to get applied.

iNano is correct, the damage is substracted after the armor calculation. (So no, you cannot do that)

When in doubt kill it with fire? I never doubt and crush them right away.

The damage is prevented after armor is applied.  Yes it is an incredibly good spell.  On top of that your Priestess gains a life when it's revealed.
