basically the idea is to slowly deal direct damage through curses, locking down the nemy mage with forcecrush and w8 untill he s dead.got lots of agonies and "control"curses to get rid of dangerous creatures and decent armor +healing to deal with swarms. any improvement advice? this is only a test deck for the moment but could work in my opinion

You look like your especially equipped to deal with large numbers of enemy creatures. You have a surprising number of high-attack creatures for a fatigue deck. I would probably replace them with a plague zombie eternal servant

You might like to put in cloak of shadows. Walls will block your line of sight as well as the opponent's. I would also put in drain soul.

Since you don't have as good access to good guards and you don't have as good access to as good position control as a fatigue forcemaster has, I would recommend trying to leverage the strengths of the dark school. Have you considered using hellfire traps? Combine that with malacoda to hinder them and a cloak of shadows on yourself and they will have to activate the trap to reach you, and with chains of agony they'll take even more damage if they do. Meanwhile, you can have a bunch of armor on you and maybe a damage barrier of some kind. And you can melee them with their your eternal servant and malacoda.

I really like this book. Seems like a cross between few big and fatigue. I think sailor is correct that this book could use a venomous zombie and a drainsoul.

Another thing I noticed is that you don't run any armor enchants. Brace yourself is a wonderful card whn you think you might take a beating for a round.

One more point I'd like to add, chains of agony is a great card for any blood thirsty book.

I do have one question. I'm seeing more arcane corruptions in dark books lately. Do you find you have the 10 mana to cast it? Ghoul rot and force crush won't leave you much wiggle room.

I really liked your advices, tips and ideas but before doing the modifies of the case i'd like to sort some  points out : 1-those creatures are kinda situational,i mean one is to be casted for sure in the second round and i choosed brutes or blood demon because they can effectivelly GUARD me,agree with the plague zombie as eternal servant but ...do i really need it?or will i have mana or tempo to do so?
2-arcane corruption is the perfect counter to regrowth and prevent ppl from hardly enchant themselves (1point of dmg per enchant is a hard cost to pay)
said so do u still think same things?
the cloack-blur idea with traps opened a whole world in my head btw :) that s great
thank you guys for your attention u are pointing out to evidence a lot of weak spots i didn t realize on forst thought

If you are planning to cloak yourself in shadows and hold the enemy still I would highly recommend finding space for a Mage Wand or two to get extra uses out of your incantations.

I was going to say the same thing.  Deathlock kind of goes against Death Link, Vampirism (both the enchantment and the Blood Demon), and Regrowth Belt.  If sticking with Deathlock, then I'd go with Veteran's Belt, but I can see why you might prefer some ways to heal without having to pay the Holy school tax.  Or perhaps Death Lock only comes out against swarms to shut down Mohktari/Raincloud/Renewing Spring/plants and Holy mages?

Instead of Wispwillow Amulet's +3 mana net, why not Harmonize on your Battle Forge?  Or is the idea to have Battle Forge summon the Amulet so it saves you an early action?

The only downside to Cloak of Shadows that I see is it limits the range of your Battle Forge.  Also, it doesn't do much if you're up close and personal with Sectarus. On the other hand, you could engage with Sectarus without the cloak (but lots of armor), then flee and Cloak up once you've dealt a critical (or at least satisfactory) number of curses on the enemy mage... at which point I can see the value of the Regrowth Belt, Death Link, etc (and would thus recommend ditching Deathlock if fleeing after cursing is your primary strategy).

Except that those zombies have bloodthirsty, so if there's a damaged living enemy creature in their zone they'll have to attack it and they won't be able to guard.

this should be fruit of your brains combined :how does it look?  thanks a lot for your tips guys! used it in 3 games so far ending up winning all of them :the plague zombie is awesome in so many ways i ll never stop thanking for the idea.deathlock was more of a handicap for me when i had to heal after 2 boulders or 3 in my face.   had to face the bloodthirty issue of non protecting me from incoming dmg but 12 dice of dmg are enough for most of the creatures i found myself to face ;P

Bloodthirsty has its limitations, but hey, it's a cheap way to get six dice out of the brutes.

From Academy:
Leather Chausses
Wychwood Ironvine
Disperse
Crumble
Mend

I only used this spellbook once, so its also a Work in Progress.

The biggest difference i see between the two spellbooks is that my guy tries to get the job done from a distance.

One thing id really like to add is a Gorgon Archer. Works fine with the Necromancers plaugemaster ability, never dies and could be useful to enchant tranfuse Poisoned Blood and Ghoul Rot.

The Goblin Builder is just something im trying in all my books at the moment :)

looks very interesting indeed!getting the job done from the distance is safer, therefore mb better :) i was very tempted to add a gorgon archer but couldn t find room for her in terms of spellbook points....mb cutting malacoda and some agonies.. and really curious about that builder lol
