Hi all, as some of you already saw, Zilfalon and I tried out the livestreaming option on OCTGN via Twitch yesterday. It worked really well and we'd like to do this regularly in the future. We're planning on showing another live match this coming Thursday. I'll confirm when we have agreed on a specific time (likely afternoon/evening CET).

Please, just use a camera over a board and stream an "analog" game. OCTGN is soooooo boring!!

that's part of the reason I have been so hesitant to get into OCTGN. I've tried to watch some of the OCTGN videos, and they are so boring it's painful to watch.

They would be great if the Host would talk about his game, his strategy, what he expects from the opponent and so on.

I very much prefer "real" games too, but we are 500+km apart. For now we'll just be streaming the game as it is with live commentary just like playing face to face, but there won't be strategy discussion before the game. If interest is high enough, there's nothing keeping us from improving the coverage for future games though.

And you will be able to listen to our conversation during the game. Theasaris cant watch the steam however, because it will be from my perspective and will then know what I will have in my deck or planned - we wouldnt want him to cheat, would we?

So feel free to watch the game and discuss our strategies, make sure we are remembering all the rules, and maybe enjoy some music if you want - I could turn on songrequests, so you can have yourself a nice podcast with chilling music.

You can watch it either by checking the twitch.tv on OCTGN, look for OCTGN on twitch or just go directly to my stream www.twitch.tv/zilfalon and chat there (which is only visible for me, not theasaris in this case but much more visible than in the OCTGN client).
