You absolutely need dissolves in you book. 2 corrosive orchid aren't going to do much versus a warlock with lash of hellfire or the priest who can turn light attacks into fire.

This is my druid build - Very aggressive and controlling at the same time.

hi, (you're Nathan right ?)  i really like your build very much...but could you give possible 3 opening moves ? i would like to play a similar build with my druid on short notice, but i'm hesitating on when it's best to cast the pods...
in my current build i have also included tataree to assist the vine tree, what do you think about that ?

i also see no additional mana sources,  you're only relying on vine tree and pods...you think that's viable enough ?

And yes, tanglevines are fantastic. Knockdown + Tanglevine in a kill zone is a nice combo for dealing with flyers.

could you explain this combo a bit further...it is not quite clear to me why you would cast tanglevine in addition to the knockdown, as the tanglevine is not sticking to the flying creature when it activates...it seems a cool combo, but i don't quite understand how it works...

Tanglevine prevents the flyer from gaining the flying trait again.

Quote from: Rulebook, pp.43
"Flying creatures lose, and cannot gain, the Flying trait for as long as they are Restrained."

The vine tree is usually sufficient. As a druid, I hardly ever cast any mana sources other than the tree, and it works just fine. For an aggro druid especially, this is often enough. A vine + samara druid might want a meditation amulet or something, though (which is not this build).

I'm Ray -

move to middle space, Ring, Vine tree (bond).  Leaving me with 9 mana.

Turn 2 (19) deploy 2 vines, (18) mana, Deploy Raptor vine (9 mana). QC , Enchanters ring and a creature enchantment. (5)

Turn 3 (15 mana) 2 vines (14)  deploy Raptor Vine (5) Creature enchantment (3) reveal enchantment and move attack. or just move.

----------

I have played the book once since I changed it and added the seedling pods and they didn't work as I had planned. partly because i was playing against zombies who are slow and never go to where I placed the pods.  at the same time it allowed the pods to get huge and cast stuff for me. I have since remove the 3 seedling pods for 2 mana flowers and a mongoose agility.
