The AD guys like to say I " only play books that are really, really, living or really, really, dead." I primarily play The Druid or the Necromancer, and when not directly playing necro, I usually play with Skeletons, such as my skeletal warlord build.
So every time I've played with seedling pods they always got killed before they were of any use. I might try them again in a future build. Adding the life tree will definitely give them a fighting chance.
So this was the build after listening to the Mage Wars Podcasts (if you aren't listening to them you are greatly missing out, they're awesome)
While plant creatures are strong on the attack side they are prone to being killed due to the lack of life or armor. so I'm adding Rhino hides and Bull endurance. I made some changes to the book already but this is the first version, so I did not list my changes.
One of the changes was taking out one harmonize and replace it with Mana Flowers. The 2nd harmonize was to harmonize myself, but it actually costs one more Mana to harmonize yourself than a flower/crystal. I also changed the number of bull endurance and took out one Dissolve. I took out the shift enchantments for enchantment transfusion.
The theory behind removing a dissolve is that the orchids can destroy equipment. The orchids and acid ball can corrode. I should only have to worry about weapons such as Lash of Hellfire, mage wands, Elemental wands,..etc
You make a good point about the regrowth belt. I will already have regenerate2 from barkskin, and also with the treebond. Do I really need that much regeneration.?
I'm not using burst of thorns, because I was planning on using the vine markers and the vinewhip staff to keep everything on lockdown with stuck markers.
2 Bearskin might be a better choice over the storm drake hide.
I'll post the final changes later, but was wondering basically about the first build and if anyone saw any changes we have not already come up with.
