The version you have created overly favors certain mage types. It is not feasible to strike a reliable balance with such low HP mages. Simply put the cards for this game were not designed for the low health format you are proposing. If you cannot see that then nothing further I say will change your mind.

Um, you did see that I changed it to 24 life, right? I even said that I didn't see any way to do it any less. 24 life is the same life value that's used in regular apprentice mode.

If you are going to make edits unannounced and argue stipulations you have not previously announced then what is the point of asking for advice? Do you want advice or do you like arguing on forums? This whole discussion is pointless.

I did announce it:

I finally realized it would be excruciatingly difficult to make any format where the starting life is less than 24, simply because anything less than that makes luck too much of a factor. With 15 starting life, a priestess with asyran cleric can win in about 3-5 attacks, and doesn't need to sustain him that much. After some consideration, I have been unable to make the format less than 24 life without making the number of cards in the spellbooks too low. The only problem is that I'm not sure these spellbooks can win in 5 rounds or in less than 15 minutes. What do you think?

I quoted you to show you how argumentative you were towards my posts. Your new reply illustrates it even better. The unannounced edit I was referring to was when you dropped the Thunderrift Falcons without saying anything about it. The additional stipulations I was referencing was this school project demonstration you randomly added into it. I posted here to help you as everyone else was ignoring your post and my reward was you starting an argument. I now see why noone else posted and I will not be posting on your threads in the future. Good luck in school.

I really do appreciate your help, and I thank you for it. It was not my intention to sound argumentative.

I'm sorry I forgot to announce that edit earlier. It was late at night and I was planning to announce it in the morning, but I forgot.

The reason I did not mention the class stipulation right away is because of privacy concerns, and because I didn't know at first that it would be relevant.

In the future I will try to communicate better.

I think you could do it with low HP. Two turns of attacking is exactly what you want in a mini demo. At the end mention the normal game has higher starting life and a bigger map so there is a lot more build up.

I really like having tiny spellbooks for apprentice mode. The big map is not the intimidating part of the game the big spellbooks are.

To balance the lower life, also have low channeling instead of low starting mana. Also I'd change up the archetypes you used a bit. Currently warlock and priestess are too similar, and having a tanky wizard could lead to a slow boring demo. I'd make the warlock solo with a Battleforge and lash of hellfire and one flame blast. I'd give the wizard a bunch of lightning attack spells and no defense besides stunning the opponent. Beastmaster I might give Susruko just because he is so cute.

I think I'd also consider giving the priestess a wall of stone and the Beastmaster two walls of thorns.

Looks decent, although remember you have to explain damage barriers now.

I'd give the wizard two arc lightning's too so he's got some choice with his low channeling.
