gold abilities vs silver abilities

The gold ones are spells and the silver ones are not, right? I looked in the rules supplement, the core rulebook and on these forums, and I could not find the answer to this question. I'm sure an Arcane Wonders staff member told me this was the case at some point, but I can't find it in the rulebook or the supplement.

I don't understand the question. Gold and silver, as in the color or a valuable thing? If you are talking about a color, where do you see it? Thanks!

Take a look at Joseph true blood if you don't know what I'm talking about

Ability Bar = Gold Color
Attack Bar = Grey Color

Neither are spells. Silver are attacks, gold are non-attack abilities.

Really? I stand corrected then. All this time I had the wrong information. Who the heck was it who told me otherwise? I really wish I remembered. I thought it was a playtester or staff member who told me that gold abilities are spells, but I don't remember who it was if that's the case.
