Combine players' life totals and subtract 20. This life goes to the player with initiative. The other player now has infinite life. The player with initiative has the Bop-it trait.
Bop-it
This player gains x actions and can plan x more spells, where x is the number of successful combined pulls, flicks, twists, spins and bops.
During the initiative phase, players exchange life totals. When a mage would die, check to see who has the most damage. That mage loses, regardless of life.
