Archers Watchtower Upgrade
« on: June 06, 2014, 01:54:24 PM »
I don't know the development cycle of archers watchtower, but it would be cool if he made the creature effectively flying instead of adding indirect. You would have to attach the soldier to the tower and disallow their use of melee attacks aside from guarding. I just like the idea of preventing ground melee attacks on the archer until the tower is destroyed.

sidenote, its a bit weird how rolling fog doesnt stop an archer in a tower.

Indirect (Attack Trait) - This ranged attack does not have its Line of Sight (LoS) blocked by any walls. Rolling Fog is not a Wall, as such it still limits the ranged attack to 1 zone.

ok, i was wrong. the archer gets flying for attack, but not flying for defense. I was thinking more of a unit defensive structure which has to be destroyed before you can attack the archer, so i maintain that my idea is different and good.
