To add a little to what Jacksmack said, I would recommend reading the Hindering rules in the FAQ on page 10. That should cover everything you need to know regarding this issue. You could also look at Necropian Vampiress on page 43, but that basically just repeats a small portion of the info given on page 10.
Basically, Hinderance is something that occurs when the creature moves that prevents them from moving a second time. That's the key thing to keep in mind for this question, I believe. You don't check for Hinderance until you actually move. It is certainly possible to prevent Hinderance from occurring with any creature you wish to move. Such as, by gaining Flying, by gaining Elusive, or by Restraining an opposing creature before you take your move action. As long as you take care of it before you move, then it is fine.
