stranglevine and flying creatures on guard

Hello, i didn´t find anything for this, when a flying creature is on guard lose flying, i understand that i can cast a stranglevine on it, but, when it loose his guard token and gains flying, i must discard stranglevine?

A restrained creature looses and can not gain the flying trait. So until the Stranglevine is destroyed, he will/can not fly.

sIKE is correct. This is actually my favorite way of dealing with Guardian Angels or Gargoyles.
