Hawkeye and attack spells

Hi all. I just want to be sure, will Hawkeye add 1 dice to spells such as Fireball or Pillar of Light if they are cast by mage?

Yes, Hawkeye gives bonus to all ranged strikes, spells or non-spells. If you are performing multiple ranged strikes simultaneously, the bonus goes only into the first one!

Does not give extra dice if it's a Zone attack.
