in which  i talk about special type of creatures that "do something" when they enter play. For Example:

BOG FIRE
School: Fire 1 & Dark 1
Mana Cost: 6
Full-Cast Action
0-0 - Zone
No Armor
3 Life
Quick Melee ATK 1D Ethereal : 9+ Burn
Flying, Incorporeal, Nonliving
When Fire Spark enters play, you may put a Burn marker on a non-Mage opposing creature in the same zone.

ROYAL HEALER
School: Holy 2
Mana Cost: 8
Full Cast Action
0-0 Zone
0 Armor
6 Life
Quick Melee ATK 2D
When Royal Healer enters play, you may roll 2D and heal that many damage to your Mage.


WAR SMITH
School: War 3
Mana Cost: 10
Full Cast Action
0-0 Zone
2 Armor
8 Life
Quick Melee ATK 3D Piercing 1
Unique, Tough -1
When War Smith enters play, you may put a Stun marker on him. If you do so, choose and reveal an equipment card with a mana cost of 3 or lower and equip it to your Mage.

This approach seems to add an incantation-like effect to creature summoning. I don't see much value in adding this complexity to the game.

Stay the course and wait for the spell types and spell schools to evolve. Given the current framework in the game design their are vast areas still left to discover. :)
