Druids awesomeness
« on: November 28, 2013, 10:41:00 AM »
I played a druid with a slightly modded basic book. My opponent was a warlock with a heavily modified book to optimize fire power against the druid. With his opening initiative he double moved NC AND CAST battle forge into far center. This didn't even make me budge I casted a vine tree bonded in center back row and moved into the zone and cast a vine whip staff on myself. Next turn I put a vine marker in back center and far center and QC tangelvine on warlock. His lash of hellfire made quick work of the tangelvine. After I summoned tataree he ghoul rotted it during the next channel phase. I placed 2 vine markers in the zone with him. Thus hindering him from coming into melee range of me for the rest of the game. Vine markers are extremely annoying. He was hindered and I kept him at bay with blood spine walls and thornlashers and force pushes.

At this point I compleatly understand why wall of thorns is not a vine.
