2 vs 2 shared fate

What do you think about this scenario. As you enter the arena the (insert proper announcer) announced that you will have to duel with an ally.

Rules;

1. There can only be one mage of any class(there can only be one wizard period, and one beast master)

2. You cannot ally your self with a mage that is trained in an opposite school from yours. No warlock priest/ESS

3. You cannot choose opposing school spells above level 2 exception; force master can choose any creature.

4. You and your partners books contain a combined total of 120 points with a floating difference amount of 20 points. IE  A mage cannot have less than 50 points and a mage cannot have more than 70.

5. Epic spells limit count to a combined book build. You cannot have more than one instance of each epic spell between the two spell books.

6. Each team starts on opposite sides, with teammates in opposite corners on the same side.

7. Each mage can only chose a single "activated" ability on their mage card to use per round. Wizard cannot use the shield and guard and zap. The beast master cannot quick summon a pet. (NOTE traits "sprinting and poison immunity" and battle skills "melee and ranged plus 1" are unaffected by this!)

8. Each player starts with the following life totals; Wizard  25, Warlord 29, Warlock 28, Priest 26, Priestess 25, Necromancer 25, Forcemaster 25, Druid 24, Johtari beast master 26, Straywood beast master 28

If a mage dies during a round the remaining teammate continues to play that round and the next round that his team has the initiative marker, after which if he couldn't defeat the other team it is ruled a loss.

If a mage is defeated all of his non mage and school specific objects become controlled by his teammate.
