Corroding equipment?

Corrode can affect a creature or conjuration. But can it corrode armor from equipment on a mage? Thanks.

Mages are creatures (level 6), so if a mage has corrode markers on, his or her armor will be reduced, regardless of where that armor comes from (Rhino Hide enchantment, Dragonscale Hauberk equipment, Fortified Area in the zone). So yes, corrode can reduce the effectiveness of some equipment, if that equipment's purpose is to provide armor.
I can take the fun out of anything. It's true; here, look at this spreadsheet.

Having corrode tokens placed on specific equipment/armor sources for mages was experimented with in play testing.

It was a bit messy and forced it to have lots of asterisks and subclauses.  So it was more streamlined to have the mage get the tokens and have the armor sources left out of it.
