It's Bull Endurance.
Good work!

I'm afraid you can't move and summon Wychwood Faerie in the same turn. But as both could have moved the next turn, no harm was done.
Other than that, sounds like a cool game. Taking on 2 oponents, going for the kill seems though

I think your mana planning is a bit off.
If you stick to your opnening plan, my math goes as follows:

T1: 19
Mana Flower (14) + Harmonize (8 )

T2: 19
Lair (4) + Enhanter's Ring (2)

T3: 13 +2 on Lair
This is not enough to deploy a Grizzly.

You could go:
T1: 19
Lair (4) + Harmonize Lair (0)

T2: 9 + 3 on Lair
Enchanter's Ring (7) + Enchantment on BM (Bearstrength or Enchantment Transfusion for expample) (6)

T3: 15 + 6 on Lair
Deploy Grizzly (4) + Enchant twice (1)

You'd get out the Grizzly on T3, but lack channeling.

Without Channeling boosters, you'll sit at 36 mana T3. Lair + Grizzly alread cost 32 mana. So you have 4 mana left. Depending on when you play the Lair, it refounds 2 or 4 mana. Say you play it on T1, leaving you with 8 mana and 5 quick actions until end of T3. you probably don't want to waste any of them, so you got to think cheap. Enchanter's Ring only is 2 mana (and a quick action), but gives you basically channeling +1 if you enchant something every round. Harmonize (on Lair) is 4 mana and gives you channeling +1 as long as the Lair lives and you don't tun out of creatures. Harmonize on your mage is 6 mana and gives you channeling +1 until the first Purge Magic.
If you think you can afford to waste some actions, consider using Decoy with Enchanter's ring.

Events / Re: The Trent Magnus European Goodwill Tour is a go!!!
« on: June 16, 2016, 10:02:16 AM »
Update: Things are starting to take shape now. I will be in Bad Nauheim, Germany on June 25 and 26 for the tournament there. Then, I will travel to Copenhagen for the week, culminating in a game day there on July 2. Finally, I will take a day trip Prague on July 30 for their local Tournament. Things are looking exciting.

Awesome! See you in Bad Nauheim!

No it does not work in team games. We've been working to improve out wordings to make them easier to understand in a multiplayer setting, but this was from the first set.

So were Huginn and the Wizard!

Yeah, I tried to merge as many languages as I could in that sentence.
Bière sounds about right.

Canada is a bit far from here...

Organize events both online and offline that require working together with the other Mage Wars forum communities

I think that this could be a problem here in europe. I cannot imagine that one day, i will sit into my car, travel 6 hours to Innsbruck to met a player or attend there for a tournament. Also, it suprised me how hard was to communicate in english there. My germany is not that advanced, my spanish sux and i will rather not mention my ability to order beer in french :) And dont try to bring Bibliofilters trip into this discussion :)

Most people are shy when using other languages. Most Board Gamers are super shy when comes to other people out of their comfort zone :)

Also i live in impression, that nearly all Germans are able to speak english :)

Uhm... Un big cerveza, si vou plait? Or something like this.

I usually only visit local tournaments as well, 2h, maybe 3h away by train. For a 2 day event I'll perhaps travel further, but only once in a while. Like once a year.
Visiting another country just for a game of mage wars is not the way for me. And that's where other forum communities are, at least for me in germany.

I will admit that speaking a language that's not german makes me a little uncomfortable. Sitting there, looking for a translation or a phrase that you don't know is annoying. You know what you want to say, but you can't. Considering myself quite eloquent in german, I often feel like a stuttering idiot because I have to use the simplest words I know.

Every german student has to take english classes in school, with mixed results. But some people don't even speak proper german, which seems to be way more important here. Those may be exceptions, though, I didn't ask everyone.

Oh cool songs are coming up. May I request Sweet Child O Mine by Guns n Roses?

Nope!  Has to be "Land Down Under" from Men at Work.

It seems like the Academy cards don't have a card limit implemented. We tried to put 120 copies of Group Mend into one book and got no error message. 5 Enfeebles on the other hand failed to validate.

Force Push is another way to throw them a curve ball. If they neglect armor because they don't thing they need it, I can deploy wall and move and push.

I'm afraid you can't. WoT is not a vine spell, so you'll have to hardcast it.

General Discussion / Re: Did another thunderdome start already?
« on: January 19, 2016, 02:06:53 PM »
You might have seen a game from Thunderdome <G>, an octgn tournament for the german community. It's also hosted by Schwenkgott. There was a registration in the german forum, but it was never mentioned here.
As far as I know, only 2 players involved with Thunderdome <G> take part in the Mage Roars and those can handle both.

Maybe it's an anti-hydra. For every point of damage it takes it loses a head...

Rules Discussion / Re: About Immunity
« on: November 09, 2015, 04:55:57 AM »
I would not call it a mechanics issue. It's rather a strategic issue. If your whole strategy is hard countered by just one fire immune imp, there is nothing wrong with mechanics. Mechanics allow you to lose T1 with 4 Hurl Boulders on your Mage.

I'm not saying you should ignore corner cares because they are rare or anything, not at all. But I don't Zink it is too strong to counter multiple Flame creatures with one fire immune guard. If something can't be set on fire, it doesn't matter if you try 1, 2 or a quadrillion ligthers, it just won't burn. You may not be able to stop an army with one man, but in Mage Wars they come at you one after another and you are immune to every single one of them. I honestly don't see a problem here.

Spellbook Design and Construction / Re: Incorporeal Wizard Build (Air)
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:43:01 AM »
Have you ever played this build? How many creatures did you summon in your games? It's hard to believe that you are able to summon all 6 of your creatures while paying upkeep and defending your mage. If you need to free spellbook points, think about reducing your Grey Wraths, that's 6 points each!

You are lacking unavoidable attacks at all, how do you plan to deal with threats like Fellela, Huginn or Cervere? Relying on them to fail their defense rolls will probably not work. Maybe Arc Lightning will work. It is unavoidable, has a chance to stun and fits the theme perfectly.

I would suggest to play some games and bring back fresh feedback on this build. But be aware of Wizards, they have an ethereal Zap!

Sticking to a theme can be a lot of fun, but it can cause some troubles. You might get serious problems with a Forcemaster and the ethereal Galvitar, which cuts through a Mana Siphon like butter. But your theme can be really dangerous, as many mages do not carry enough ethereal attacks to deal with all your threads.

Wall of Fire is much less dependand on zero armor than Wall of Thornes is, so it can be a nasty surprise. Stacking some burns can certainly help. With Jet Stream on the Tower it might even be a double push, even though it requires some positioning.

You only run one Storm Drake Hide, one Elemental Cloak and one Rhino Hide aside from Brace Yourself. That armor can be stripped off quite fast with Acid Balls, Dispel or dissolve. Without an interceptor you are vulnerable to attack spells after that.

With 4 Crystals, Moonglow Amulet and Harmonize you run a lot of channeling boosters. Do you run all of them? In general, what is your plan in the first rounds with this build?

I don't think you need both Regrowth and Regrowth Belt. If you want to have 2, I would suggest to include the Belt twice. When you use an enchantment and an equipment, your oponent won't run out of either dissolve or dispel.
