Post by: isel on November 14, 2014, 07:25:33 PM
Welll budies, with a lack of spoiler i open this question because i need to know your opinions, Why? because several of these spell are few in the core, and i believe if AW see that one of these it´s very needed in everybook, maybe in the next promo pack we have one of these or in the future Battlegrounds or PvS they put several copies, i need more teleport and forcepush xd

Well budies you know im boring and the forum it´s been very quiet lately  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I would have said Dispel but there is already a ton of Dispel promos in circulation. Dissolve is the one that needs an alternate art if any.

There are very dispel promo's.

They were only available in OP kit 1. Dispel was reprinted in one of the expansions with the alternate artwork.

Dispel is the most used. Most book has 3 of them.

You need to reword the poll. It presupposes that there is a spell that is included in every spellbook that the person answering the poll makes. Isn't that the question you're trying to answer in the first place?

Pretty much all of the spellbooks I build use dispel. If I had the forcemaster vs warlord expansion I would generally not put dispel in his book, and would use harshforge monolith, arcane corruption, harshforge plate, etc. instead.

It seems highly likely that as Arcane Wonders releases more spells, the "always/nearly always-mandatory-to-include" spells will no longer be so.

Dispel: Harshforge

Teleport: Seen the spoilers for "Cascading Force Push" yet?

Force push: Fast, teleport and teleport effects, teleport trap, snatch, jet stream, surging wave, force pull, spreading vines...the thing that force push is useful for is "moving" a creature an extra zone, and controlling the direction it goes in. All of the effects listed above are good for one of those two purposes except for fast, and even then fast can make an extra "move" unnecessary.

Dissolve: DISARM, and for dealing with armor there is corrosive orchid, acid ball, rust, piercing, and at least to some extent extra dice.

Rouse the beast: I do not think this is generally a card that would be included in every spellbook a person makes. I do not understand why it is on a list of possible "always/nearly always-mandatory-to-include" spells.

I voted for dispel because there is always at least one enchant your deck really can't stand.

However a close second is acid ball. Only a deck relying on direct damage effects doesn't need acid ball.

If they are in the base set, an available promo, and are already being reprinted in an expansion, then I think my point stands that it is Dissolves turn for a reprint.

Dissolve has been released in the Core (5), FvW (3), and DvN (1). Spell Tome 1 (1) and Spell Tome 2(0).

Almost every book I've made includes 2 Dissolve, 2 Dispel, 1-2 Force Push and a Teleport.  I'm not sure how much of a staple Dissolve is anymore though, considering Acid Ball is usually what you really want unless you're playing a strategy that to folds hard to certain equipment.

I often don't need the 2nd Dispel, but having it is reassuring.  Most enchants can be countered through equips or other enchants, but there's higher level enchants that don't have easy in-school answers.

Really? Not sure why I am running low on them then. I retract my opinion.
