In OCTGN start a game up. Once you see the game board, at the top of the Screen you will see Game Documents. Click on it, the click on "How to build your own Domination Map". It covers the process and what each number means.

Could those of us who don't use OCTGN get a text-based legend so we can try these maps in real life?

I second this. It would make a good shorthand for custom maps that people build in real life as well as on octgn, rather than having to completely rely on photographs and screenshots all the time.

Print button doesn't work on my mobile device.  And can't install/play OCTGN on my work PC for reasons. 

(Haven't tried OCTGN on my mobile device, but I assume it doesn't work (?))

When you say text based are you meaning a file in the text format with a text file extension?

You can only see the game lobby though the app.....not play the game.

I don't have OCTGN installed on any device (e.g. iPhone) or PC (e.g. from work without Admin privileges, not to mention ethics issues).  I don't intend to buy another PC so I can play Mage Wars on OCTGN and/or read the .html file in the OCTGN file system.  Is this .html file online somewhere so I can view it in browser?  Or can someone copy & paste the text of that .html file, which would be in an OCTGN player's file system, to a forum post?  All I want is to read the relationship between tile numbers and which tiles they represent.  I can read Sailor Vulcan's .txt files just fine and understand how they represent the arena geography.  I just don't know which tiles are which (aside from generic ones).  Thanks.
