Title: Hawkeye and attack spells
Post by: Kroko on January 20, 2014, 11:34:08 AM
Hi all. I just want to be sure, will Hawkeye add 1 dice to spells such as Fireball or Pillar of Light if they are cast by mage?

Hi!

Yes, Hawkeye gives bonus to all ranged strikes, spells or non-spells. If you are performing multiple ranged strikes simultaneously, the bonus goes only into the first one! :)

Does not give extra dice if it's a Zone attack.

References include page 14 of the rulebook v2.0 describing how attack spells cause a ranged attack, and of course the codex for Ranged +X. There are other references as well in the codex, rulebook, and FAQ, but those should be sufficient to prove the above answers to your question correct.

Those plus the fact I am giving him a sticker for being correct.
