Chain lightning And guarding
« on: October 15, 2012, 10:35:26 PM »
If a creature is on guard and I cast chain lightning, does it only affect the creature that is on guard, or does it actually ignore guard and go through the entire zone?

Ranged strikes ignore guarding characters, in that, you do not have to target them if you do not want to. There is really no reason not to shoot the Guarding character at some point through the course of a Chain Lightning, but that is of course up to you.

Correct. Think of it this way your guard is not a goaly trying to stop incoming arrows and spells.
