Hi  ;)

Just gonna make a few post back here from time to time.

Heres a new book i am working on atm (along with a lot of others)

After the suggested rule change to make all mages channel 10 and the Incorporeal change should make Pentagram viable (maybe even one of the best creature spawnpoints now)

I just lost a fun game vs Werekingdoms Siren - so i am going to talk about that game, and try to find out what changes i should/could make.



Regarding the actual game: I really wanted to use Meltdown in a game. I casted two in two rounds - first i think the Siren discarded 1 equipment and took 5 damage. In the second round she only keept her cheast piece and therefore only took 1 damage. It seems pretty nice to get rid of 5 pieces of equipment and do 6 damage for 14 mana and just two actions, but i think it lost me the game. Using one of my PB would likely have been better - for only 1 action and 5 mana i likely would have stopped 3-5 healing instead.

Second thing id like to talk about are my star creatures the Blood Demons. They are pretty good but sometimes Bloodthirsty means you cant really do what you really want to do. So i think i could use a little more movement spells - teleport, force push etc.
Flying is amazing but i did run in to a thing similar to running pest creatures - the opponent mage can basically just move two and escape all or almost all your creatures. So i think i need ground support that can hinder my opponent and guard. So just put a few more level 1 and 2 back in?

I never really had the mana or time to cast Kassandra or the Fire Elemental, so either i come up with a plan how to do that or i cut one or both of them.

Meltdown: Based on only one game - i think the first one your opponent will take some life damage - the second one hurts. So 2 seems like a good number.

I could use a little more buffs and direct damage dealing (remember to cast Hawkeye next game) and add some of the missing stuff.

Other than that - thoughts are welcome!

Heres is the newest version of my PentaForge book:



1.Open with Battleforge + Enchant
2.Leather+ Pentagram and Mana Shard

Thoughts from latest game:
1. Battleforge
My Warlord opponent took out my BattleForge very very fast - i did play it in the near center.
It really hurt a lot.

So either place it in the starting zone or one of the zones bordering that or add another.

2. Fire Elemental
So strong. Took me a long time to get him out, so maybe add some Ritual or other mana improving stuff.

3. Sectaurus Dark Rune Sword.
Love it - or rather the idea of hitting somebody with the sword, put Rise Again on that guy and finished him with a Firestream :)
Cutting it as i never have the mana for it, so its that or the FE. Rise Again might get cut also.

4. Elemental Wand x4
Firestream on that and get Pentamana is pretty good.
Four wands might be overdoing it.
On a sidenote i made a version without any Firespells or attacks, which isnt that bad of an idea as alot of guys run fireprotection.

5. Sanguine Hunter
Pretty nice early creature. I did run my mage out of the Pentagram zone, and therefore had to put the damage on the hunters which ain't as good.
I have to come up with something better :)
