Burst ofthorns and daze

Is burst of thorns an attack? Can i cast although i dazed?

zot:
it is an incantation. so daze does not affect as the incantation/thorn is making the attack. others can confirm if this is the case.

Burst of Thorns is an Incantation that causes a vine marker to make an attack... it is not an attack spell. Since the Mage is not the one making the attack, there is no roll for Daze and no danger should the target be protected by Reverse Attack.
