Most of my opponents had me at REALLY serious trouble, non of my games was easy.

congrats to all of the top players, especially biblo. i have to say that the competitive level of play this year was significantly better than all previous years where literally one mistake during all of the qualifier matches could cost your place in the top four. i know because that is exactly what happened to me. everyone played with a fierce intensity while keeping sportsmanship.

In terms of the competition I'll say that yes it certainly seemed stronger this year. Nobody had an easy road and as the champ said he was on the ropes several times. Littlenog, Zot, Millie, and Arthur all had him beat it seemed to me at times. It was skill and luck that saved the day for him but the same can be said of a lot of matches.

I'll call one group in particular: St Louis really upped their games this year. Players from this group took 2nd and 3rd this year and they played extremely well.

Just as a slight correction Ryan placed 3rd with the Beastmaster. I (Andrew) went 2-2 with the double Battleforge warlord.

Yeah I'll see if I can get that from my crew. Been sorta on the mend this week.

I know the vast majority of matches ended in mage death.
