My wife and I are entertaining the idea of going to GenCon this year. If we are able to do so, I will be joining you all for the fun of it. (I'd be in it for the consolation prize of a snack.)

What materials (other than spellbooks) will we need should we want to join in on the informal games on Thursday, and do you happen to know what time people will be around that day? I am supposing that I should bring my spells for book modification possibilities, at the very least. Things like mage-specific tokens might be helpful.

For the practice sessions on Thursday I'd bring my books and mage specific tokens yeah. I'm thinking we'll be supplied like we were last year so we should have all anyone could need....but we don't want to take chances there.

Bring your Grizzly Slapping Hand to combat the horrible puns and your Dane Kicking Boots for when Mr Biblofilter pulls his shenanigans on you....you also may want to bring a Fire Extinguisher in case Sharkbait goes Trogdor on you...and don't forget a Lightning Rod to deflect the Bolt of Doom trifecta from the crusty old wizard, zot...

..also, Hand Sanitizer...it's always a good idea.

Oh almost forgot, in terms of schedule for the training and casual stuff I don't have the official schedule yet, that should be around the 28th when I have that. I doubt very much though it'll be hard to find some matches all weekend.

Probably forcemaster so he can start attacking r1 with a mind's eye. :P

Alternatively he could use johjkari beast master, lesser teleport and an attack spell round 1.
