Ok, if you want points for a proper blast you've gotta pull some stuff. I suggest you pull 1X dissolve, chitin armor, mage wand, wizards tower, Staff of storms, regrowth, and agony. That should give you about 14 points to work with. Add in spells that will kill the mage. Boulders and acid balls are good for raw damage and guaranteed direct damage respectively. Fireballs are a good choice for possible sustained damage overall and maybe that extra necessary damage point or two at upkeep. In fact if you drop the staffs and the bolts altogether you save 6 more SP and with the other 14 that's 20 points for attack spells. Id also add a hawkeye and a marked for death. That's 4 so now spend up those 16 on 2 fireballs, a hurl boulder, and 2 acid balls. This will ensure that when you want to kill the other guy you can pull the trigger for 4 dice acid balls or 8 dice fireballs or boulders and really make the RNG work for you. That's just my opinion though, take it for what it is. Book looks good
