eye for eye . . .
... could result in a draw.
In principle, this is true for a lot of spells - e.g. even a [mwcard=MW1A06]Flameblast[/mwcard] could kill both mages via Eye for an Eye. And all of the other counters mentioned so far apply equally to [mwcard=MWBG1A03]Hurl Meteorite[/mwcard] - although the game doesn't necessarily end immediately if something counters your Meteorite.
Pro tip: If the opposing mage has FD enchantment(s), or if there are 2 or more FD enchantments on his/her creature within [mwcard=MWSTX1CKE04]Enchantment Transfusion[/mwcard]
range, then DON'T CAST THIS SPELL.Pro tip: Wait till you have 45-46 mana; then QC Swell or Flameblast on your opponent to trigger any mandatory reveals before using this spell. Note: Swell might push you or your target out of range! Plan accordingly.Hmmm... In hindsight, maybe this spell should just cost 36. That way, you can still document the mana needed for the most likely QC spells you would cast prior to this spell. Also, it's more likely that you channel enough mana to cast this in 3-4 rounds.
Still kind of a "win more" spell, since you would likely be better off using that mana for something that would end the match 1-2 rounds earlier.
*edit* By the way, at first I was thinking Zone Attack, but (a) intentionally didn't want to make it Unavoidable because that's playing on "easy mode," and (b) given the nature of the condition that you lose if you fail to defeat the opponent, this bypasses rolling separately for every object in the zone, which would be a waste of time. Basically, this is just a bigger Meteorite that puts all your mana in one basket.
