It would be nice to have a way to reinstate the Domination terrain though (without killing the mage that controls the Conjuration - Terrain). Otherwise, you might cover up an Altar of Oblivion, effectively drawing out a game, as happened to us on Wednesday. Conjuration - Terrain becomes an auto-include, with Consecrated Ground being treated like "novice" for all but Warlocks and Necromancers (and it's even a good option for them), since it can cover up both dangerous Domination terrain and terrain that helps your opponents, and at most all they can do is replace your Conjuration - Terrain with their own; e.g. they can't reinstate the Altar of Oblivion / Vtorrak / Samandriel's Circle, etc.

Just wait until you see the abilities of the Sortilege Conjurer mage trained in Arcane level 2 and Earth. :)

Caveat - this is pure conjecture on my part.

I'm ok with terrain in general... if for no other reason that it forces some tough decisions on spell book building. What I absolutely hate is that Shallow Sea has Cantrip. It's not like the Siren isn't going to have 3-4 of the things anyway....

A Dispel Terrain / Blank Terrain / Stone Floor or whatever to get rid of unfavorable terrain isn't a bad idea, but probably not needed in my opinion. I would cost it at "X" (cost of terrain being dispelled), but would not make it novice. Maybe make it Arcane 1 or Nature 1?

Yes. Only works on Level 1 Corporeal, so won't destroy Swamp, Elephant Grass, Steep Hill or Hellscape.

In other words, the only Terrain it works on are Consecrated Ground and Shallow Sea.
