This is awesome, I love the idea, and I can tell you put a lot of thought into it.

Is there a limit to how many players can join? Are promos allowed? When is the deadline to enter? Are you planning on doing this often, say every month? Just some questions for thought.

It's the 9 channeling that hurts her the most. Warlock, Beastmaster, Druid,Warlord, other Warlock, other Warlord, Johktari, & Priest, in that order maybe.

It they all had 10 channeling the order would change pretty significantly. Both Priest and Joctari would probably benefit the most, though Druid would be truly scary.

Ringkichard, sounds like you should join this league. Maybe you'll find out a thing or two about those mages that you didn't consider before.

You;kk have to make an account if you don't have one yet, but after you do, go to the MageRoars Oct 2015 league and join! The password to enter is Cellardoor.

There is no limit to the number of players that can join, as this coming league will kind of be a gauge to see how many are interested.


You can consider this a formal tournament for the purposes of card selection, so only cards that have been released to the public as part of the Mage Wars product line will be legal for this tournament. Sorry guys, no Ballista:/

The deadline to enter will be Sept 30th, at midnight. After that, the league will officially launch, and you'll have to get in the next one.

As far as frequency, I would love to do this every month, but I want to gauge interest and see how smoothly things can go before I speak loudly about any further opportunities, but suffice it to say, I would LOVE to do this as often as possible.

That is correct. Unless they both release before you receive your mages, which will not happen until the 30th.

How do you pick your own mages?

Once registration ends, I am going to pick 4 mages at random for each player, by using random.org. You will use this list to select a mage to play each week. Once you play that mage, you will have to choose a new mage from that list. It all should be outlined in the thread. Cheers!

Where can I get info about the 4 random mages and pairings? When is the league starting?

I have not received any mages.  We are all concerned that something may have happened to The (illustrious) Dude.  He did not submit a book for Thunderdome and had to be cut from the tourney.  I am hoping that he is okay.

Hey Dude, I'm a little skeptic about seeing you join the tournament as a player yourself. You are getting all the screenshots and write-ups from all players. In addition you know the mage choices your opponents have. Don't you think that's giving you an unfair advantage?
