I'd favor either a Dark + Water spell or a mono Mind spell (if it was a Mind creature).

Should the Loremaster be influencing these things? lol.

I prefer any combination that produces some decent frost spells:

Air + Water
Air/or/Water + Earth
Air/or/Water + Mind
Air/or/Water + Dark
Air/or/Water + Holy
Air/or/Water + War
...

Frost is not out yet, and so we can't design a Frost card for this experiment

I'd favor either a Dark + Water spell or a mono Mind spell (if it was a Mind creature).

An extra mind creature!!  ;D 1 to replace that horrible psylock
. Sorry.

Well if you insult the Psyocculouses you have, then how could you expect to get more. j/k.

Yeah, Dark and Mind could make a pretty awesome spell. Creatures, Conjurations, or Enchantments would all be really fun to design. I really like conjurations, though dark already has some pretty solid Zone Exclusives. Some form of illusion could be a pretty cool concept.
a "Nightmare generator", with a psychic effect:
A creature who wants to enter the zone have to roll an effect dice. 1-6 it stays where it is / 7-12 it continues its movement.

Right now we're just deciding what school we want. Though so far Dark and/or Mind is winning. I'll let this go through today and then we'll move on to the card type.

Dark/mind: I vote creature!

minor vote: (if creature would be a no-go) a dark-mind attack spell (or incantion psuedo-attack like [mwcard=MW1I08]Drain Life[/mwcard])

My vote for type is... Mage!

Just kidding.

I'd be most happy with a Creature, since there's more details we can decide about it as opposed to something like an incantation with one effect. Hey, maybe the Dark Mind creature is like the Psylok's Red Claw Alpha Male?

give a creature to the FM... dangerous. a rooted one?
but i must agree there's a lot to discuss on a creature, and that's fun.

i vote for a conjuration (i love conjurations! for there ability to modifie the arena)

Is it set to be a creature card already?

If so, a dual war/mind gets my vote.

If we make a Dark/Mind creature, the cost per mage would be very interesting. Assuming Level 1 Dark and Level 1 Mind, we'd end up with:

Priestess/Priest: 5
Warlock/Warlock/Necro: 3
Wizard: 4
Beastmaster/Beastmaster: 4
Forcemaster: 2
Warlord/Warlord: 4
Druid: 4

This is because the way the Forcemaster is worded, if the creature has any bit of the Mind school in it at all then it is considered a Mind Creature and the Forcemaster gets it at base cost. So no matter how we split the schools, the Forcemaster will get it cheaper than anyone else. Level 3 Dark and Level 1 Mind? Forcemaster pays 4 and Dark Mages pay 5. Kind of cool.

Anyways, my vote is indeed for a creature. I think that would be the most fun to make.

Are you sure?  "Non-Mind creature spells cost triple" is simply a tax, not a benefit.  In other words, it's not the same as saying "Non-non-Mind creatures cost single."  As far as I can tell, the Forcemaster would still pay 2 for the Dark and 1 for the Mind, as it's not a "non-Mind" creature (therefor not triple) but you don't get any additional cost reduction.

Hmm, I think you are correct. The fact that it is a Mind creature means it avoids the penalty, but the default stance then is indeed double cost rather than base cost. My apologies. So a Level 1 Dark and Level 1 Mind creature would cost the Forcemaster 3 spell points.

Good catch I will have to make sure the validators in OCTGN follow this. I am liking this more and more, I too vote for a Mind+Dark Creature.

Was thinking about a dark/mind ability that might be cool.
"When this creature damage a opposing creature remove any guardmarker without any counter attack step".
This with a 1 die sweeping attack with piercing 2 maybe.
Add a rot effect as well and she might be quite diverse.
