How do you get OCTGN working on Mac?

How do you get OCTGN working on a Mac computer? My sister and I tried to figure it out one day for hours and hours and we couldn't figure it out. Is there a detailed set of instructions we can look at somewhere? Thanks!

I've looked into it for myself and the best answer seems to be either a virtual machine or a dual boot into windows. Neither option really appealed to me, so I'm looking into getting a cheep/used PC.

That's expensive though. OCTGN does have the option of using wine, we just can't get it to work. I've been told other people have though...
