I'd love to give domination a try, but I won't have time to make a new book for it and I also have a couple of regular books I want to give a try.  Let's see who shows up and we'll go from there.

Organized play at Wizard's Tower continues TONIGHT, Monday August 31 with Allegiance in Blood Chapter 8: Siegfried's Challenge

Chapter Challenge: "Weakness in Numbers"

Story points awarded to the first player to win a match with no creatures in play at the end of the game.

Also, last time's challenge is still in effect: "Draw the Line" - story points will be awarded to the first player who can end their match without any of the opponent's creatures on his half of the Arena.

...  oh, and by the way ...

Mage Wars: Academy and Battlegrounds: Domination Demos

I'm happy to demo Academy or get a Domination match going... whatever people are interested in.  Come out to the Wizard's Tower and join in the fun!

Organized play at Wizard's Tower continues on Monday September 21 with Allegiance in Blood Chapter 9: Honor Bought with Blood.

Chapter Challenge: "Honor in Blood"
Story points awarded to the player with the highest total levels of all destroyed creatures in his discard pile.

Also, our last two challenges are still in effect: (1) "Draw the Line" - story points will be awarded to the first player who can end their match without any of the opponent's creatures on his half of the Arena; and (2)  "Weakness in Numbers" - story points awarded to the first player to win a match with no creatures in play at the end of the game.

Organized play at Wizard's Tower continues on Monday October 5 with Unholy Tides Chapter 1: Into the Eyrie.

Chapter Challenge: "To the Sky"
Story points awarded to the player who summons the most flying creatures over the course of the game.

Also, two previous challenges are still in effect: (1) "Draw the Line" - story points will be awarded to the first player who can end their match without any of the opponent's creatures on his half of the Arena; and (2) "Weakness in Numbers" - story points awarded to the first player to win a match with no creatures in play at the end of the game.

It is recommended that each player be prepared to play Domination or Arena on a given night.  That is, it's probably a good idea to bring (at least) 2 spell books: one designed for regular Arena play, and one designed for (presumably multiplayer) Domination - although in principle these could be the same book.
